‘Art Saved my life’

Everything you see.
Everything you hear.
Everything you hold in your hands—

began in imagination.

And yet, we struggle to believe
in what we cannot see or hear,
as if the visible world
did not emerge from the unseen.

Life itself—
from a single cell,
from matter,
from something before matter—

energy, force, movement…
something becoming.

Everything. Everywhere.

So imagine.
Consider.
Conceptualise.
Construct.

Create from what you sense—
not just what you’re shown.

Your understanding of something greater,
whatever you call it,
is not something to prove—
it’s something to express.

Public Poetry

A small archive of overheard things — strange, funny, brutal, poetic — and the beautifully fucked things people say. * Trigger Alert*

If you pay attention, people say things in passing that, to some of us, are strangely perfect. These are fragments caught in the wild…

“I need to eat creatures for energy.”

“I need meat. Like livestock — I’m talking something that has died. Something that had a mother and… a father.”

“I’ll keep a hammer on my desk so I can just stroke it. Threats always seem to work.”

“Like getting sucked off on the stairs after a shot of heroin.”

“I don’t actually know what that means, apart from the fact that you’re a cocksucker?”

“Talking (during sex) is so primitive.”

“My father had a fascination with my blood. It wasn’t particularly funny.”

“My sister found my fits – I told her I had used them as toothpicks”

“How’d you get your job?”
“I lied.”
“Oh. Good job.”

“Like walking into Mass, and you’ve like, fucked half the people.”

'“It was way too much to take - like getting fisted without the kiss”

'“I’m going home to make dinner for my wife and children. Then make love to my wife… in front of my children.”
