What you’ll see is what some of us have heard — the voices, the whispers. We share them to expose them. Most have come from episodes of drug-induced psychosis, or in the residual aftermath; some during stress and throughout recovery. Some of us haven’t heard them at all, but have spiritual beliefs that align with experiences of the dark side of addiction and the internal narratives they create (the way we speak to ourselves).
They have caused some of us fear, paranoia, confusion, and great distraction. They can cause shame and isolation due to the stigma associated with these sorts of experiences. We thought it was worth getting some of this out there, as the content of these experiences is rarely spoken about. If this causes you any discomfort, please refer to our take-home messages.
If you would like to share your experiences, or have content you would like to add, we welcome your contribution. This is primarily for those who come after us — to see it’s nothing to hide and can be shared. Do not suffer in silence. It’s not normal, but we want to explore and expose the toxicity of it all, create from it, challenge it, and take the piss a bit — sharing is caring.

One of our members created this “Ledger” after many months spent arguing with his voices and listening to their constant antagonising threats — or bluffs, as he now refers to them. Crackers, eh? Some of his voices are behind the content you see above… nasty shit.
Anyway, although he no longer hears them, he feels his experience was a dark spiritual one. Whatever the case, this is what he used to combat the nonsense he heard from the voices around him — he would hit them with some truths to which they’d respond with what you see below.
For him, it kept them contained (along with self-care and connection). They would argue with him for months… until one day, they didn’t.
Crazy shit to some — super interesting to us, and we love to create from this stuff. Just in case there is evil out there somewhere, we wanna expose it & give it hell.
